Freshwater crocodile photographed with jaws taped shut sparks search and rescue mission

Wildlife authorities have launched a desperate bid to find a freshwater crocodile that has been photographed with its jaws taped shut. The images were snapped by a camper on the Mitchell River at Mount Carbine, west of Cairns. In one photograph, the crocodile can be seen sunning itself on a log with what appears to be black tape or a band around its mouth.
